The Mystery Of ‘1,000-Year Old Alien Corpses’ May Have Finally Been Solved

Has the mystery of several “1,000-year-old alien corpses” that supposedly contain DNA that is “not from any known species” finally been solved? The “alien corpses” have undergone a battery of tests set up by journalist Jaime Maussan, the man who discovered the bodies and has made numerous outrageous claims about them.

Maussan has presented these “non-human alien corpses” to Congress in Mexico on more than one occasion, and has often claimed they contain a “new type of DNA.” The bodies were supposedly discovered by him around 2017 in Cusco, Peru, near the pre-Columbian Nazca Lines.

Wild claims

Over the past few years, they have been examined by former president of Peru’s Medical Association, the former director of the Mexican Navy Medical Department, a paleontologist, multiple forensic medical examiners, and some filmmakers. There is, according to these various examinations, a “light metal” object implanted in the palm of one of the specimens, communication devices that were made in part with a rare metal known as osmium embedded in their bodies, amalgam fillings in some of the corpses’ teeth, and no traditional human fingerprint patterns.

Now, as has been done several times before, someone is trying to debunk Maussan’s claim that the mummified corpses are alien in nature. This time it is Jesse Michels, host of American Alchemy.

“I found no evidence that they are not from Earth,” he told the Daily Mail after visiting the site where the bodies are undergoing scientific examination.

DNA testing

According to Michels, a bioinformatics expert analyzed the publicly available DNA on the “aliens” and identified a gene mutation linked to a congenital condition that causes digit deformations in humans. All of the “alien corpses” appear to have just three fingers and three toes, so they could have suffered from a similar gene mutation known as ectrodactyly.

“I found a list of 50 genes involved in the pathway,” bioinformatics specialist Alaina Hardie explained. “There is a mutation in one of those genes, called Gli3, that is associated with polydactyly.”

While some DNA fragments could not be immediately identified, further processing indicated these were likely from known terrestrial organisms or sample quality issues.

The analyzed samples included bone and muscle tissue from a mummy known as ‘Victoria,’ a headless humanoid specimen, confirming the human origin of the DNA.

Further study

Michels says he plans to hire Colossal Biosciences, an American biotechnology and genetic engineering company who recently attempted to bring the dire wolf back from extinction, to conduct deeper DNA analysis into the “alien corpses.”

“They need permission from the Peruvian government,” Michels said. “If the government won’t allow a top American biotech company to use their proprietary ancient DNA testing techniques on these mummies, then I don’t know what else you need to understand their position on the subject.”

So while Michels and others are convinced that the mummies are not aliens, he does admit that they could be a long-lost subterranean species.
