It’s still absolutely frigid in the Northern Atlantic Ocean which means that most of the underwater apex predators in this part of the world are still swimming around in the Caribbean, the Southeastern United States, and up and down both coasts of Florida.
We are only a few weeks/months away from the tarpon fishing in Southwest Florida heating up which brings thousands and thousands of hammerhead sharks to the region but not before the Great Blacktip Shark migration across the East Coast of Florida. But I don’t want to get ahead of ourselves here. We’re talking about this Volkswagon Bus-sized pregnant great white shark.
This massive great white shark filmed just outside The Breakers in West Palm Beach, only a hop, skip, and a jump from the President’s Mar-a-Lago, is believed to be pregnant and it looks like this shark is legitimately large enough to swallow a hippopotamus if it wanted to.
This footage was shot by diver Jim Cocci. He was diving off of Mar-a-Lago when he heard word from a friend that a massive Great White Shark was spotted off of The Breakers so they went to investigate, according to CBS 12. The shark drifts in out of nowhere, the size of a small bus, and disappears off into the darkness.

Just another normal day in South Florida, right? Nothing weird at all about seeing a 15-to-20 foot pregnant great white shark just off the beach….
