These Completely Over-The-Top Pumpkins Remind Me That I Suck At Art But Love Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner, my dudes. That means that Halloween parties start as early as this coming weekend and that it’s time to start decorating if you’re planning on it. If you’re planning on carving a pumpkin this year, these are the best pumpkin carvings of 2018 (so far) for you to get some inspiration from.

I’ll be in Las Vegas for Halloween seeing Phish for 4-nights so I’ve thankfully gotten out of all decoration duties this year and won’t have to cover my house in spooky sh*t. But being at a Phish concert on Halloween means that I need to come correct with a sick costume and I’m all out of ideas this year so if you’ve got any inspiration for me then hit me up in the comments or on Twitter at @casspa.

Over this past weekend, my ENTIRE Instagram feed was young parents taking babies to pumpkin patches to score a picture of their sleeping kid with a pumpkin. That sh*t right there isn’t what gets me into the Halloween spirit. Give me some Michael Myers, cold weather, and a pumpkin carving kit and that’s all I need to get into the Halloween mood.

Some people just have all the talent when it comes to carving pumpkins and I am most certainly not one of those people.

Does this really count as Pumpkin Carving when it’s mostly painting and affixing external structures to a pumpkin? It’s still cool, don’t get me wrong. I’m just wondering if this is all decoration.

There aren’t enough pumpkins in this world dedicated to characters from The Office and I’m glad to see someone’s out there trying to change this.
