576 Good Dogs Set World Record For ‘Most Border Collies’ In One Place And This Is What Heaven Looks Like

My invitation to this world record breaking event must have been lost in the mail. Had I known that there 576 Border Collies meeting together to set a world record I probably would’ve made an effort to attend…Until I found out that this all went down in Australia. Then my laziness would’ve taken over and the reality of flying halfway across the planet to see some dogs would’ve set in. Though, I suppose if you are going to spend 24 hours traveling anywhere then seeing the world record broken for ‘most Border Collies in one place’ is as good as any reason to travel, right?

According to Mashable, Guinness World Records doesn’t keep/maintain breed specific records. So, even though this even broke the previous world record of 503 Border Collies it’s going to be an unofficial world record because there’s no ruling body to keep track of/verify this stuff.

This record attempt was organized by the Border Collie Owners of South Australia, and all 576 dogs met in Willaston Oval…Real talk: if you told me that was actually a fake town from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter I would believe you…
