I’ve been working on the internet for over three years and I’ve seen my fair share of crazy. Very few viral stories get my blood pumping nowadays. I have been a second-hand witness to the best and worst of people, and at this point I’m essentially immune to how far people can swing in either direction.
But today, August 28, 2018, I have become #MadOnline. In a way, it feels good to feel something again. In a way, I want to toss my computer off the top of the Empire State Building, catch a flight to a small Mexican fishing village, live off the land, and disconnect from the world until I’m buried at sea.
I promise you will feel the same way after reading this viral story about a bride who called off her fairy tale wedding, broke up with her fiance, and burned every bridge imaginable for the most petty, self-indulgent reason my pea brain can possibly fathom.
The story was brought to light by Twitter user 0lspicykeychain, who shared the post to a Wedding Shaming Group on Facebook. Yes, those exist, and after reading what’s to follow, I’m glad they do.

She’s not kidding. Buckle up, my friends, and make sure you’re sitting down for this. It’s a doosey.

Ok, ok. Lets hear her out. She may have a valid reason for her outrage. (Hint: She most certainly does not).

0lspicykeychain says that she forgot to post a screenshot that falls between the previous one and the upcoming one, so it may seem a bit fragmented. Nonetheless:

I’m sorry for bringing you bros this story, but misery loves company.
