The Die Hard film franchise has been around for as long as I’ve been watching Rated-R films. The original Die Hard is often heralded as the single greatest Christmas movie ever produced. Most of the sequels have been pretty badass, and at the very least they’ve been fun to watch.
Bruce Willis, the star of the Die Hard film franchise, is 62 years old. He’s no spring chicken. But that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to star in Action flicks as he gets older. Death Wish looks epic. He was a badass in First Kill. There’s just been no shortage of Bruce Willis kicking ass on the big screen and that’s great news for Die Hard fans.
As a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, Bruce Willis showed up with a broken arm and discussed a potential 6th Die Hard film and went as far as saying he was leaving New York to go look at the script, and he seemed extremely optimistic that this film is happening:
The most recent film in the franchise, A Good Day to Die Hard, was released back in 2013. Die Hard Year One is currently listed on Bruce’s IMDB page as ‘rumored’ but after seeing his optimism in this interview and hearing that a script is pretty flushed out I’m 99% certain this film is getting made.
