It’s been a little over a month since the thrid season of Stranger Things was released on Netflix and fans are still very pissed off at Dustin’s girlfriend Suzie.
The reason for fans’ anger is because they believe that Suzie was the main cause of the deaths of Chief Jim Hopper and Max’s brother Billy.
Now, to be honest, after watching the entire season I didn’t give much thought to who was at fault with regard to Hopper and Billy being killed. I just blamed the Mind Flayer and moved on to trying to figure out if Hopper was really, in fact, dead.
Today, however, I have a whole different opinion thanks to the never-ending tweets about how people believe it was all Suzie’s fault. (See what I did there? Never-ending? Get it?)
The logic being used is that if Suzie had just given Dustin the damn numbers instead of forcing him to sing the theme from The NeverEnding Story to her, then the Mind Flayer would have been killed BEFORE Billy had to sacrifice himself and BEFORE the Russian T-1000 attacked Hopper, stopping him and Joyce from turning off the gate machine.
Suzie is definitely not getting off the hook here. Also, I don’t know how Dustin can still call her his girlfriend after the tragedies she helped cause.

Then again, now that I think about it, if Murray had just given Hopper the right number in the first place we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
