And the list of Florida Man stories gets yet another entry. This time the story involves a golf club and a mechanic.
Florida is a crazy place, it’s not a coincidence that nearly all of the absolutely absurd news stories you hear and read about begin with ‘Florida Man’ or ‘Florida Woman.’ The popularity of Florida Man stories is indisputable and you can literally search ‘florida man’ every hour of every single day and you’ll get something wild.
This brings us to the lastest Florida Man story. According to the Bradenton Herald, a 56-year-old Florida man was charged with felony aggravated battery after he hit his mechanic over the head with a golf club simply due to the fact he was taking too long with his repairs.
It was taking too long to fix his truck. That’s when the golf club came out, cops say https://t.co/XKDTvVEX7z

It’s unknown at this time whether or not the man lost an earring during the altercation or only rocks one on the left ear.
According to the report, the victim began walking away, “when he felt a heavy impact and hot pain at the base of his head.”
The victim turned to see a broken golf club in the hands of Cardenas, fled the area and called law enforcement, deputies say.
Upon arrival, deputies say they found the victim, “stumbling in the roadway with blood running down his arms and neck.”
Deputies say Cardenas admitted to the attack, which caused the victim to need stitches and further medical attention.
He hit him so hard the golf club broke. With that information, the man may have hit him over the head with the shaft of the club rather than the head, because if the head hit the man’s skull so hard the club broke in half, it would be a miracle for the man not to be immediately knocked out, or worse.
