The 2023 awards season kicked off in Hollywood on Tuesday night with the 80th Golden Globes.
The Banshees of Insherin was the big winner of the night. It took home the award for Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture as well as Colin Farrell winning best actor for his role and Martin McDonagh winning best screenplay of a motion picture.
Elsewhere, Austin Butler got clowned on for still his having his ‘Elvis voice’ months and months after he was done filming. And HBO’s House of the Dragon won Best Drama TV Series, beating out The Crown, Better Call Saul, Ozark, and Severance.
