For fans hoping for a Deadpool/Wolverine crossover movie, Hugh Jackman just crapped on your heart. Jackman says a buddy superhero movie featuring his character Wolverine along with Deadpool isn’t in the cards. Ryan Reynolds is not happy and lets it be known on social media.
Jackman reassured the world that he is done playing Wolverine and that a crossover movie isn’t happening. In an interview with PEOPLE, Jackman says he’s done as Wolverine.
“Oh, Wolverine will be back,” he said. “Someone’s going to buy him, I don’t know.” Jackman added that it won’t be him though.
“But Ryan is relentless,” Jackman said of Ryan Reynolds. “He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes and forms. I just said, ‘You know, I just don’t think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine.’”
Reynolds responded on Twitter by calling his boy Jackman “selfish.”

While Reynolds refusal to let the topic die might annoy Jackman (although, the actor seems to enjoy the faux rivalry this “controversy” has caused), fans love Reynolds’ unwillingness to let the subject go.
