Marvel
Inventor Allen Pan is just like many of us. He wishes that he could have some of the amazing tools, gizmos and gadgets that superheroes get to use in real life.
So, over the past couple of years, Pan has went ahead and created real Spider-Man web shooters, Wonder Woman gauntlets, as well as several other superhero goodies.
So with Thor: Ragnarok currently tearing up the box office, this time he decided to try to make a real-life Mjolnir hammer that flies away and returns to him like Thor’s does.

This isn’t Pan’s first go-round with Thor’s mighty hammer Mjolnir though. Previously he created a version that, just like the one in the movies, can only be picked up by someone deemed “worthy.”

Pan accomplished that little bit of trickery by using an electromagnet and a fingerprint scanner.
This time Pan used a quadcopter placed inside his replica of Mjolnir that he secretly controlled using a gauntlet on his arm.
After many, many failed attempts, and a whole lot of trial and error, Pan was eventually able to make the hammer return back to his hand.
