With less than three weeks until the day that movie fans have hilariously dubbed as “Barbenheimer”, which is when both Barbie and Oppenheimer will release in theaters, the press tour for Barbie is in full swing as Margot Robbie was in South Korea over the weekend to promote the project.
As she did in late June in California at the recently-revealed real-life Barbie Dream House, Robbie dressed up in outfits that some of the earliest Barbie dolls wore, which obviously prompted quite the reaction on social media.

Robbie isn’t the only Barbie star working overtime to promote the impending release of the film, as her co-star Ryan Gosling, who features in the movie as Ken, has been going viral in his own right thanks to patently absurd statements such there’s “strong Kenergy in Canada” thanks to the “link between Tim Hortons’ Timbits and Polkadot Door” but that he can’t be quite sure yet because they’re “looking for funding” and “you are Kenough.”

In addition to Robbie and Gosling in the lead roles of Barbie and Ken, the film — hitting movie theaters in the United States on Friday, July 21 — also stars Dua Lipa, Simu Liu, Emma Mackey, Kingley Ben-Air, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, John Cena, Michael Cera, Helen Mirren, and more.
As far as box office projections are concerned, Barbie is currently expected to outpace Oppenheimer during their opening weekend as its tracking to make around $80 million at the domestic box office, while Christopher Nolan’s latest epic — which stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer — is expected to make about $40 million.
Alongside Murphy, Oppenheimer also boasts one of the most impressive casts of the year with the likes of Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., and Florence Pugh.
