The earth is round, water is wet, and a billion mirror selfies are uploaded to social media every day. The vast majority of them collect their likes over the day but fame is fleeting, and they will soon be forgotten and replaced with the next batch of self-indulgent vanity.
If you’re one of the lucky ones, your mindless image will enter into what is known as the ‘viral cycle,’ where a bunch more people talk about you for a slightly longer period of time before, like the rest, you are forgotten forever and die alone.
A woman named Paula was #blessed enough to experience the all-encompassing joy of viral fame when she posted a mirror selfie that, on the surface, looked to be as standard as they come: hot girl, plump bottom, tacky bathroom, funny face to show that even in her most narcissistic moment, she doesn’t take herself too seriously.
But, upon closer examination, Paula’s selfie sparked bewilderment on the interwebs.

Pick your head up, Paula. It could always be worse.
