Actress and comedian Quinta Brunson has skyrocketed from relative unknown to unquestionable Hollywood star in recent years after she both created and starred in the hit ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary. The show, which is a mockumentary based on a predominantly black public school in Philadelphia, has won multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards and put Brunson on the map.
This week, it was in the spotlight again due to a crossover episode featuring the cast of another Philly-based sitcom, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Brunson recently sat down with It’s Always Sunny… star Rob McElhenney for an episode of Complex’s GOAT Talk and made a hilarious revelation.
The first question which Brunson asked McElhenney was for his GOAT blunt rotation. Brunson, who jokingly (?) had to explain to McElhenney what a blunt rotation is, specifies that he must name three people. McElhenney then lists Snoop Dogg, Harrison Ford (both known weed smokers) and Martha Stuart – a fine enough answer but nothing special.
However, it was then Brunson’s turn to answer the question. She names Seth Rogen (also a noted smoker) and Missy Elliott. But it was the third name on her list that was shocking.
“…And he is a child, but The Rizzler. When he is of age to smoke pot, that kid cracks me up,” she says.
Now, some of you may be wondering who The Rizzler is. The Rizzler, real name Christian Joseph, is an 8-year-old a social media star from New Jersey who rose to fame for his “rizz face,” a facial expression that involves squinting his eyes, puffing out his his lips, and stroking his chin. He has also become a regular star on TikTok alongside the Costco Guys.
It may seem like a bizarre choice at first, but it also seems like a potentially hilarious experience. Quinta Brunson smoking with Seth Rogen, Missy Elliott and The Rizzler? That’s a big BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
