Sophie Turner may be 21-years-old now, but she she started playing one of the biggest roles on TV, Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, way back in 2011 when she was just 15. So she knows full well what it is like to suddenly be thrust into the spotlight and hounded by fans at a very young age.
Which is why with stories like the one we shared yesterday about a fan whining about being “ignored” by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, she felt the need to join Shannon Purser (AKA Barb) in explaining to everyone, in great detail, why people need to chill the F out when it comes to these kids.
There’s a lot to take in, but this line from Turner pretty much sums it up…
“Imagine you, a parent, walking with your 13 year old son/daughter and seeing a fully grown adult pointing their camera phone at your kid,” wrote Turner. “You would do anything you could to delete that persons photograph, and remove your child from that situation as soon as you could.”
Truth.

This must have really ticked her off and hit close to home because two hours later Turner was back with more…
