It’s probably not a good idea for brands to chime in while the entire country is currently on edge waiting for highly contested election results.
On Wednesday, the GAP decided to send out a tweet featuring a red/blue sweater with the caption “The one thing we know, is that together, we can move forward.”

The Internet was united in hatred of the tweet and roasted the clothing retail brand until they eventually deleted the tweet.
