Did you know that August 11th was Chris Hemsworth’s birthday? Of course you didn’t. You have a life. Right? Anyway, it was. He turned 35-years-old.

See? He even posted a photo of himself and his lovely wife Elsa Pataky with a birthday cake on Instagram.

“Immediately after this shot was taken my son viciously attacked me from behind (due to his ninja training) and slammed my face into the flaming candles , I’ll now be playing Deadpool if @vancityreynolds pulls the pin #bestbirthdayever @elsapatakyconfidential,” Hemsworth captioned the photo.

And while the man who plays Thor may have Instagram name-dropped Ryan Reynolds (who is dealing with his own issues of being mocked today), it was another man who also obviously works out a lot, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who dropped a little birthday roast on Hemsworth on social media in the form of a song.

“Happy Birthday @chrishemsworth you handsome alien looking SOB! Many people in this world are so grateful you were born – I am not one of them. Enjoy your birthday w/ the ohana my brother and see ya down the road. πŸ‘½πŸŽ‚πŸ€™πŸΎπŸ‘ŠπŸΎ,” wrote The Rock.

The fourth best Chris… pretty solid burn right there. Not that Hemsworth’s feelings were terribly hurt since he re-posted the video on his own Instagram account, writing, “If anyone was gonna break the news to me being the least favourite Chris I’m glad it was you @therock and embedded in that message a birthday song brought me joy. Also my kids after seeing this said β€œdad are you friends with Jumanji!!!”. And now possibly think I’m cool. They expect you at each of their birthday parties in the coming years πŸ˜˜πŸ™πŸ’ͺ.”

Must be fun being those guys.

Yep.
