‘I Can Make That In My Sleep‘: Twin Peaks Bartender Says Man Threw Money At Her To ‘Seduce’ Her. Then She Counts The Cash And Laughs

Twin Peaks has built its name on a familiar model: sports bar food, beer, and servers dressed in uniforms meant to draw attention.

With more than 100 locations across the country, the chain markets itself as a “breastaurant,” similar to Hooters or Tilted Kilt.

But for the women who work there, that attention isn’t always harmless. As many employees have pointed out online, the combination of alcohol, rowdy groups, and a bar environment means safety and respect are constant concerns.

Twin Peaks Bartender Tells Wild Patron Story

TikTok creator Angelina (@angelinafaith) works as a bartender at a Twin Peaks in Chattanooga. In a video that’s been viewed more than 230,000 times, she broke down one of the strangest encounters she’s had on the job.

“I’m a bartender at Twin Peaks, and I’ve seen a lot of crazy things,” she began. Wednesdays are especially busy at her location, she explains, because of a $5 deal on Old Forester Old Fashioneds.

“That is a double shot of bourbon for five dollars,” she says, adding that it’s a recipe for customers getting drunk quickly.

That night, two men had already been drinking heavily by the time she started her shift. Angelina says one of them, whom she calls “short hair,” immediately zeroed in on her, encouraged by his friend, “long hair,” who stood by.

“He wasn’t being disrespectful at first. Everyone could hear him, so I wasn’t worried,” she recalled.

Still, she kept an eye on his drinking and eventually cut him off from ordering another cocktail until he finished at least half his beer.

Unhinged Behavior Follows

This harmless flirting eventually escalated when “short hair” got upset when Angelina stopped serving them. She says he began talking loudly about how he could “provide” for her if she gave him a chance.

His friend, “long hair,” joined in by insisting on buying her a drink. She told him, “I can’t drink on the job, but I’ll take a water shot with you,” yet he pushed her to accept something stronger. Eventually she let him buy her a Red Bull just to de-escalate.

But things went sideways when her manager stepped in to fully cut them off. According to Angelina, “short hair” threw a wad of cash on the bar, telling her, “This is what you could have had. You could have had all this.” When she counted it, however, it was only $8. “I can make that in my sleep,” she laughed.

“Long hair” added to the chaos by tossing his tab across the bar. Angelina calmed things down without calling the police, and the men eventually left without incident. However, she still closed them out with no tip, aside from the eight dollars the patron had thrown.

Other Customers Step In

Angelina says not everyone at the bar that night acted badly. The two men sitting nearby told her she handled the situation “amazingly.” They each tipped generously to make up for what she’d dealt with, leaving her with an extra $40 split among the staff.

“I don’t understand why some people don’t know how to handle their liquor or how to talk to women,” she reflects. “What makes you think that’s OK?”

How Does Twin Peaks Provide Safety For Its Staff?

Online, people have debated Twin Peaks’ workplace culture. Some argue that the chain could do more to protect its staff from harassment, while others note that managers often step in quickly when customers cross the line.

The balance between a business model built on physical appeal and maintaining a safe work environment is something many commenters believe the chain still has to navigate.

Commenters Feel For Her

In the comments under Angelina’s video, people applauded the way she handled the situation.

“Working in a bar is truly mind altering for sure,” one wrote.

Another added, “You definitely handled that better than most people, including myself, would have.”

“Still dont understand how men go to these places thinking they will get something in return from these young attractive girls and spend so much,” another reflected. “hello that’s the business model.”
