If you had to name two locations where something really stupid would happen in America, no two places would be higher on the list than Florida and Walmart.
Florida, the new home of the epicenter of the global pandemic – even outdoing Wuhan, China – has been struggling to get its residents and visitors to follow safety protocols as well as having a little difficulty in, umm, counting.
Walmart is the home of idiots licking items in the middle of a pandemic, dudes crashing through the front doors on their golf carts because they want to speak to a manager, and people trying their damndest to shop without wearing a mask.
As for that latter situation, I’m not kidding when I say people are willing to do whatever it takes to not wear a mask while shopping at Walmart.
On Wednesday, Walmart and Sam’s Club announced via statement on their website that they “will require all shoppers to wear a face covering starting Monday, July 20” and they will even be providing complimentary masks to Sam’s Club shoppers if the member doesn’t have one.

Good luck getting this guy who was caught on camera and later arrested after pulling a gun on a fellow Walmart shopper Saturday afternoon in Palm Beach, Florida.

“You think you’re big and bad because you pull out a gun?” the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook along with photos of the man.
“Palm Beach County, we need your help to find this individual wanted for Assault with a Firearm at a local Walmart in Royal Palm Beach. He left the store in a white Chevy Equinox.”
