Late last night, Weezer dropped a surprise cover album named “Teal” that featured the band’s take on several classic songs such ae “Take on Me” (A-Ha), “Mr. Blue Sky” (ELO), “Billie Jean” (Michael Jackson) and “No Scrubs” (TLC)

One particular song on the album that caught the attention of the Internet was Weezer’s cover of TLC’s 90’s classic “No Scrubs”.
Weezer’s front man Rivers Cuomo delivered a few bizarre reasons as to why and how he wanted to cover “No Scrubs”.
