The new Italdesign Automobili Speciali Zerouno Roadster with its savage Audi/Lamborghini DNA is most definitely one of the most badass convertibles ever made. Not only can it hit 205 MPH it’s also probably going to be one of the most rare supercars in the world to own.
Italdesign created their new roadster to celebrate its 50th anniversary and will be unveiling it at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The supercar is a follow-up to the 2017 Zerouno which was the first car to ever be sold under its own brand.
Both the original Zerouno Coupe and the new Zerouno Roadster utilize the same chassis as the Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8. The reasons for that are because Italdesign is owned by Audi and the lead designer at Italdesign is Filippo Perini, the former head of design for Lamborghini. The same engine found in the Audi R8, a 5.2-liter V10, is also used by by the Zerouno and can hit 100 KM/H (62 MPH) in just 3.2 seconds.

Italdesign produced only five units of the original Zerouno Coupe, so don’t expect too many of the Roadsters to made either. Motor Authority reports that the cost of the convertible will potentially reach as high as $2.4 million by the time all the options and taxes are figured into the price.
Here’s a good look at the 2017 Coupe version of the Zerouno…
