This New $2.5 Million, 1,325 HP ‘Milan Red’ Hypercar Just Put All Other Hypercars On Notice

Attention Bugatti, Aston Martin, Nissan, Devel Motors, Alieno, Lamborghini, Pagani, DS Automobiles, NIO, Toyota, Hennessey, Porsche, Pininfarina, Mercedes-AMG, Koenigsegg, Zenvo, McLaren, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, and every other hypercar manufacturer. There’s a badass new hypercar in town.

Introducing the 1,325-horsepower Milan Red from Austrian manufacturer Milan Automotive.

The new Milan Red, named after the bird of prey red kite, is a rear-wheel, non-hybrid hypercar rocking a 6.2-liter quad-turbocharged V-8 engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Check out these performance numbers. Top Speed: >400 kph (248 mph). Acceleration: 0-100 kph (62 mph) – 2.47 seconds / 0-200 kph (124 mph) 5.46 seconds / 0-300 kph (186 mph) – 9.98 seconds.

It will also be the first street-legal production car to utlitize a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) double-wishbone suspension, which helps the Milan Red to weigh in at just 2,866 pounds.

“Nowadays, you can drive an artistic car, a high-tech monster, a throne on four wheels — or a car that only serves one purpose: stealing the show,” Milan Automotive CEO Markus Fox told Autocar. “This is where we come into play.”

Production of the Milan Red will be limited to just 99 examples with 18 cars already sold for a price around $2.6 million, according to Motor Authority.
