This fall, Sierra Nevada made what might be the best Oktoberfest-style you’ll taste in this country.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. has teamed up with Störtebeker Braumanufaktur, a fellow family-owned brewery in Stralsund, Germany, to brew a unique Oktoberfest for the 2025 edition. The result is a rich, smooth malt backbone and notes of fresh-baked bread and honey, with traditional German hops providing balanced bitterness and herbal-spicy aroma to round out the crisp, clean finish.
That kind of brewing collab is absolutely right up my alley. I went to Germany almost a decade ago, and there are beers I tasted there that I daydream about to this day. When you get to experience this level of master brewing, you have to savor it.
