What were you doing at 10-years-old? Striking out in Little League? Wondering why your cousin Bailey had different parts in her pants? Well, Johanne Astrid Poulsen ain’t your typical 10-year-old. All young Astrid is doing at 10 is killer covers of legendary bands which earned her to win “Denmark’s Got Talent.”
The 10-year-old prodigy masterfully covered Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing In The Name” and Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.” She was so impressive that she won the entire “Denmark’s Got Talent” and took home $35,666.39. Righteous bucks for anyone, especially a 10-year-old. That’s a lot of Italian ice.
She’s 10 and killing it behind the kit.
“I hope I will get to play a lot of other places or get in a real band,” Johanne said. “I have not really thought about it, but I just know I have to play drums when I grow up.”
Keep it metal Johanne.
