Alien hunters are baffled and intrigued by a giant white sphere found on Mars. In an image captured by a NASA satellite, the mysterious formation sticks out like a sore thumb.

In the photo taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), the bizarre object is large enough that it casts a long shadow.

Alien hunter YouTube account Mars Moon Space TV believes that the odd object is proof of intelligent life on Mars. The white sphere does look totally out of place compared to the dark and rugged landscape of the red planet.

In other weird, but extraordinary news about Mars, there are squiggly worm-shaped dunes on the red planet.

A newly released and incredible image of the southern hemisphere of Mars show there are worm-like dunes there.

The photo displays the Hellas impact basin, one of the largest impact basins on the planet.

“The Hellespontus region features numerous collections of dark, dune formations that collect both within depressions such as craters, and among ‘extra-crater’ plains areas,” NASA said in a statement.

This photo was also taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, using its High-Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera. The MRO has been orbiting Mars since 2006, and has beamed back amazing pics every month.

Last week, President Donald J. Trump signed into law a bill that adds human exploration of Mars as a new NASA objective. The new law also authorizes $19.5 billion in space agency funding for the 2017 budget year.

Hopefully, soon we will meet the worm aliens who make gigantic white spheres. And hopefully, they are friendly.
