This dog tried all he could do to protect his friend from the traffic, but sadly it was too late. The dog on the ground appears to be dead from being struck by a vehicle.
The lifeless dog lay in the Dublin street as traffic whizzes by. The black dog shields his fallen friend from cars and trucks. The dog cares for his friend by nuzzling up to it while buses drive feet away. At one point the dog tries to drag his friend off the road, but it is unable to move it.
A tremendously touching video. All I can say is, hug your dogs tight today people.
