In a sentence that I thought I would never write for a myriad of reasons: Donald Trump has reportedly secured the needed delegate count to be named the GOP presidential nominee come the GOP convention set to happen July 18–21.
The AP reports that Trump has now secured 1,238 pledged delegates, one more than necessary to garner the nomination.
