For me this story is 10,000 times better because I actually know the guy who received these texts from his father. It’s a friend of mine here in NYC who’s one of the funniest dudes I know and the fact that he didn’t even have to editorialize this story for it to be hilarious just makes it that much more amazing. Below are screenshots of the family text messages sent out by dad.
Dad group texted his children after their family cat went missing and mom found it dead in the street. This story is fucking amazing, and at the end of these texts I’ve included a BONUS PHOTOGRAPH of my friend posing with Sarah Palin, wearing his favorite cocaine-themed shirt.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL at the fact that it wasn’t even a cat in the first place, that it was some stray rabbit in the neighborhood. Now as I mentioned this dude recently posed for a photo with Sarah Palin while wearing a cocaine-themed shirt. When she asked what the caption on his shirt meant he told her it was a Game of Thrones reference to which she replied ‘Oh, I should have known that’. The ‘No Snow, No Show’ cocaine shirt was actually part of his Halloween costume where he went as Eric Clapton, and it paid homage to Clapton’s ‘Cocaine’ ballad:
Here’s my friend Eric dressed up as Eric CLapton wearing his cocaine shirt and posing with Sarah Palin:
