The 2024 NFL Preseason is done and dusted, and we have games that matter to look forward to.
Many of the eight NFL divisional races project to be pretty close. But, these are the eight teams that will win those races.
NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles collapsed down the stretch in 2023, losing five out of their last six games to lose the division to Cowboys. But, the Cowboys seem to be in disarray and had a weak offseason. Meanwhile, the Eagles upgraded both the offensive skill positions and secondary this offseason. They will return to the top of the NFC East.
NFC North: Detroit Lions

The NFC North is one of the most competitive divisions in football. The Lions won it last year, the Packers are a trendy to pick to win it this year, and the Bears could play spoiler as well. But, the Lions might have the most complete roster in the NFL, and they will win their second-straight NFC North title.
NFC South: Atlanta Falcons

Last year, it was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that won what was widely considered the worst division in football with a 9-8 record on a tiebreaker over the Saints. But, Kirk Cousins is going to get the Atlanta Falcons and the division’s most-talented roster over-the-top.
NFC West: San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers rolled to an NFC West title last year, as they were never seriously challenged for it. Expect the 49ers to be a little worse than last year and the Rams to be a little better. But, the 49ers will ultimately edge out the Rams for another NFC West crown.
AFC East: Buffalo Bills

Like the AFC East, three teams, the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins, and the New York Jets, all think they can win this division. But, the Bills have the division’s best quarterback in Josh Allen, and his play will carry them to another divisional title just like it did last year when they edged out the Miami Dolphins late in the season.
AFC North: Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow only played in ten games last year and was never really himself all year long. This year, he’s coming into the season healthy, and the defending champion Ravens look a little worse on paper. All four teams here could factor in the divisional race, but it will be Burrow and the Bengals claiming the crown.
AFC South: Indianapolis Colts

Despite only getting four games out of promising rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson, the Colts were in playoff contention for most of the year before ultimately finishing 9-8. This year, the Colts will edge out Jacksonville and Houston for the division crown.
AFC West: Kansas City Chiefs

This one should come as no surprise to anyone. The Kansas City Chiefs have won eight straight AFC West titles, and none of the other three teams are in any sort of position to challenge them.
