With the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris having been a resounding success, eyes are turning towards Los Angeles, hosts of the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Few cities in the world have as many iconic venues as Los Angeles does. While some venues, like Dodger Stadium and the Rose Bowl have not been officially confirmed as venues, these seven venues will be the setting for events watched by hundreds of millions around the world.

There are few more iconic venues in Olympic lore than the Los Angeles Coliseum, with the Olympic rings proudly displayed on the outside of the stadium. It will co-host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies with SoFi Stadium, and play host once again to Track and Field competitions, like it did in 1932 and 1984.

The beautiful home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers may be the nicest stadium in the world. It will share Opening and Closing Ceremony duties with the LA Coliseum before it becomes the largest stadium to host Olympic Swimming in history. Of note, Swimming will be a 2nd Week sport in 2028, switching places with Track and Field. This is to give organizers time to put in the Olympic Swimming Pool following Opening Ceremonies.

The Rose Bowl might be the most iconic sports venue in all of America. It will play host to the Semifinal and Finals of the Olympic Soccer Tournament. It previously hosted the Men’s World Cup Final in 1994 and Women’s World Cup Final in 1999.
Dignity Health Sports Park - Rugby Sevens, Pentathlon, Field Hockey, Track Cycling

The sprawling, multi-stadium sports complex in Carson, California will play host to a bunch of sports, making it one of the true epicenters of the 2028 Olympic Games.

The Los Angeles Convention Center is located in the smack-dab middle of Los Angeles, and it will serve as a main hub of the 2028 Summer Olympics. It should be a party atmosphere there for the entire two weeks.

Just down the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center is Crypto.com Arena, formerly Staples Center. The home arena for the Los Angeles Lakers, Kings, and Sparks will play host to Gymnastics of all disciplines, and possibly may see Simone Biles’ swan song in what would be one of the toughest tickets in sports history.
Intuit Dome - Basketball

The Intuit Dome is set to open up on August 15 with a Bruno Mars concert before becoming the home of the Los Angeles Clippers. Clippers owner Steve Ballmer built an absolute basketball palace in Inglewood, and this will play an incredible host to Olympic Basketball in 2028.
