Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series is a launching pad for aspiring mixed martial arts fighters hoping to make it to the UFC. Dana White launched this series back in 2017 and it’s continued to draw fans in with the Tuesday night fights that you can watch exclusively on ESPN+.
This isn’t part of the UFC brand or license but is meant to be a platform for these aspiring MMA fighters to show off their skills in the ring in the hopes that they might one day make it to the Octagon.
This Tuesday’s collection of fights showcased not one but TWO badass flying-knee knockouts. The first came just 30 seconds into a fight between Steven Nguyen and Aalon Cruz.
Cruz’s flying-knee K.O. was spectacular and enough to propel him to the next level and secure that UFC contract because Dana White was ringside and looked absolutely enthralled. Here’s that knockout with the second badass flying knee KO below:

That would’ve been enough action to make the Tuesday Night Contender Series entertaining this week but there was ANOTHER flying-knee knockout. Here’s Aleksa Camur showing off his knee skills:

What happens next for these fighters? Well, here’s Dana White breaking down the Contender Series winners from Tuesday. They are in charge of their own futures but it looks bright for Aalon Cruz after that spectacular knockout.

Aalon Cruz, the guy who fired off that first flying-knee knockout, signed his UFC contract on the spot last night so it’s only a matter of time before we see this man at the next level. This is definitely someone to watch in the sport.
