Alex Smith is finally back on the field after sitting out two years due to a devastating leg injury, unfortunately, Smith is facing monster defensive tackle Aaron Donald on Sunday.
Late in the second quarter of today’s Rams-Redskins game Smith was inserted in the game after QB Kyle Allen got injured.

Alex Smith’s first pass since Nov. 2018 is a completion.
What a truly incredible story of perseverance.

Smith’s leg got tested after Donald jumped on his back for the sack.
Smith sacked for the 1st time too. Aaron Donald gets the better of Wes Martin, jumps on Smith's back, brings him down. Smith got up ok. pic.twitter.com/7GxPBsRPyt
