Following their 24-12 Monday Night Football victory over Baker Mayfield and the Los Angeles Rams, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers now find themselves with a 6-8 record and a slight chance of making the playoffs.
While the NFC North title is out of reach at this stage of the season, the Pack could sneak into the playoffs as the NFC’s #7 seed if they win their final three games, particularly considering their last game is against the 7-7 Lions, who are also in the thick of the playoff race.
Speaking to the media after the game, Rodgers certainly seemed to be allowing himself to believe as he said things are “looking up” for the team:
“Before the Bears week, we knew we had a bye afterward and those of us who sometimes peek ahead knew that we had to win five and then have a lot of things go our way. So we won two and just about everything we’ve needed to happen has gone our way. So, things are looking up.”

The 39-year-old, two-time defending MVP also said he believes the Packers can beat anybody:
“You win a game and vibes are pretty good. We’ve just been practicing a little bit better, our energy has been a little better. It’s hard to put your finger on it. We played a couple of teams we should’ve beat. That being said, it’s still tough to win in the league and, I said it earlier, I think we can beat anybody, we can also lose to anybody. But when you win a couple in a row, it starts to give you some confidence.”

Needless to say, the rest of the NFL is beginning to sweat the idea of Rodgers and a hot Packers team sneaking into the playoffs, particularly considering how wide-open the NFC seems outside of the Eagles.
Need Tua to send this loser on vacation next week. Just so tired of his schtick
