In a somewhat boring Monday Night Football game between the Jets and the Chargers, LAC came ahead 27-6.
Despite the game basically lacking offensive action, particularly on the Jets’ side, Aaron Rodgers ended up making things interesting postgame.
Following the game, where the Chargers’ defense notched an impressive 8 sacks, forced 3 turnovers, and kept the Jets offense from scoring any touchdowns, Rodgers, who’s been sidelined since Week 1 due to an Achilles tendon tear, hinted at his return.
Despite facing a challenging recovery process, Rodgers promised he’ll be back this season. He already ditched his crutches and showing a lot of progress. Rodgers was even spotted tossing 50+ yard passes during pre-game.

The real eye-opener happened after the final whistle, as players from both teams came over to greet each other on the field. A hot mic captured Rodgers talking with Chargers star safety Derwin James:
James asked Rodgers: “When you coming back?”, to which Rodgers answered: “Give me a few weeks.”

If true, what an amazing comeback it will be, and a major boost to the Jets season.
