Over the weekend LeBron James was criticized by many of the weekend when he showed up to his son Bronny’s AAU game and began dunking during lay-up lines and over-celebrating dunks,
This dude just can’t let his son have some spotlight. He’s gonna be a legit D-1 stud and Lebron still gonna be jumping in the lay up lines smh https://t.co/BfqezlaTNx

I understand it’s LeBron James and his sons team, but fans and spectators don’t belong celebrating on the court during a game. No matter who you are.
I love the emotion btw, it was a cool scene, I just don’t think it should be allowed. pic.twitter.com/V8g4KfOhpE

Skip Bayless called LeBron “pathetic” for stealing his son’s spotlight.
"This was so embarrassing to LeBron James and especially to his son, Bronny. … He upstaged his poor kid. LeBron has become so attention-starved." — @RealSkipBayless pic.twitter.com/pFAzmnli6b

Jason Whitlock went on a bizarre rant comparing LeBron’s thirst for attention to cocaine addiction.

On Monday TMZ spoke to a parent of a player in Bronny’s AAU league to see what he thought and the parent shared a pretty cool story of how LeBron gave his son a pep talk after a game that made the kid cry tears of joy.

After one of his sons’ games, LeBron James went up to one of the young players on the other team and said: “I hope I’m still in the league when you’re playing.”
The young player broke down in tears.
LeBron James, amazing. (h/t @TMZ)

Maybe LeBron James isn’t such a bad guy after all.
