It wasn’t that long ago when Ja Morant got suspended eight games for flashing a gun on Instagram while partying at a strip club.
After speaking with Adam Silver and issuing an apology, many believed the Memphis Grizzlies star would clean up his actions.
However, it was short lived after he recently was seen flashing a gun on Instagram yet again. This time while riding in a car with his friends.
Since the second incident, the Grizzlies announced they have removed Morant from team activities. But a punishment could be coming from the league as well.
On Tuesday before the NBA Draft Lottery, Adam Silver sat down with Malika Andrews and opened up about his previous conversation with Ja Morant after the first incident.
After seeing Ja Morant wave a gun around a second time, Silver was clearly shocked, to say the least.
Apparently, Silver claims that consequences were made clear well before the second incident came to fruition.

You can definitely tell that Adam Silver is blown away by Ja Morant’s actions. It’s almost like watching a father be disappointed in their kid for lying or something.
For now, Ja Morant’s punishment is to be determined. But based on Silver’s demeanor, the Grizzlies star could be facing a major suspension.
If that’s the case, it could be a rough year for Memphis.
However, Morant getting the help he needs is vastly more important than the Grizzlies title hopes.
With that said, keep an eye on more updates regarding Ja Morant’s second gun incident. Adam Silver and the NBA should be making a decision on what to do with him well before the start of the 2023 season.
