Alex Ovechkin’s Wife Rips The NHL To Shreds For Disciplining Her Husband Over Rule That Bans Players From Hanging Out in Hotel Rooms

Alex Ovechkin’s wife, Nastya, isn’t happy with the NHL and their COVID-19 protocols.

Earlier this week, Ovechkin and three of his teammates were disciplined and are being forced to sit out several games after hanging out together in a hotel room during the Capitals’ most recent road trip.

Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin and three teammates were placed on the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol-related absences list on Wednesday, as the league fined the team $100,000 for a violation of health and safety protocols.

Ovechkin, center Evgeny Kuznetsov, defenseman Dmitry Orlov and goaltender Ilya Samsonov were all added to the daily list of players who are “unavailable to play or practice, in accordance with the league’s COVID protocols.”

The NHL fined the Capitals for “social interactions among team members who were in close contact and who were not wearing face coverings.”

The players were in violation of NHL safety protocols for grouping together in a hotel room.

In her Instagram story on Thurday, Nastya blasted the NHL and suggested that the Russian players weren’t the only ones from the team to hang out in a hotel room together. Nastya went on to criticize the rules that bans players from congregating in hotel rooms but allow them to hang out in locker rooms and celebrate goals by hugging each other.

Of course, only Russian players of Washington Capitals were together in the same hotel room.

Of course, all of the other NHL players, when playing away, separating themselves from their teammates.

Of course, you can’t catch the virus when you and your teammates sit together on the bench, hug each other when they score a goal, or when they are all together in the lounge or locker room.

Players can’t get infected when they are at the restaurants, supermarkets, malls, etc..

Virus only works in a hotel room. The one who came up with this rule, obviously is very logical. By the way, both Alex Ovechkin and Dmitry Orlov have antibodies. Unfortunately, not everyone is competent in their (antibodies) value and properties.

Alex Ovechkin wasn’t as angry as his wife about being placed in Covid protocol and apologized for the incident.
