Antonio Brown suiting up for an NFL team is becoming more unlikely by the month, whether Tom Brady wants it to happen or not.
ESPN.com and Pro Football Talk are reporting that Brown will likely face charges stemming from an altercation with a moving truck driver back in January.
Remember that insane 911 call?
Authorities in Broward County, Florida, officially charged Brown with three more charges – felony burglary conveyance, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
“Brown faces felony burglary conveyance, misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal mischief charges, according to a Broward County court document obtained by ESPN.
The misdemeanor battery charge, however, states that Brown was ‘actually and intentionally striking’ the driver against his will. The criminal mischief charge states that Brown maliciously injured the driver’s property of $200 or less.”
Brown eventually turned himself in after the altercation with the driver.
The controversial wide receiver is already facing an NFL investigation from the September 2019 sexual assault and rape lawsuit.
Brown’s former personal trainer, Britney Taylor, filed the lawsuit accusing the former NFL star of sexually assaulting her on three separate occasions.
Brown later filed his own lawsuit against Taylor, suing her for defamation, and posted a $2.7 settlement offer to his social media accounts.
As far as the charges in the truck driver case, Fowler concluded that the state may offer Brown the chance to negotiate a plea deal.
