Arch Manning has already broken one of his uncle’s records thanks to his unbelievable trading card sale over the weekend. The $102,500 sale reportedly trumps any Peyton Manning total.
That includes both college and pro cards, according to sports memorabilia collectors.
Arch partnered with Panini America for his first NIL deal as a Longhorn. The deal sent waves throughout the college football world as it had previously been reported he wouldn’t accept money until earning the starting role under center.
But while many were critical, the quarterback technically didn’t gain any financial benefit from the agreement. Panini America auctioned off a 1-of-1 Arch Manning trading card with all proceeds going to support children and their families in Central Texas with support from St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation in Austin.
That sale was record-breaking as it reached six figures. It was reportedly the highest total for a trading card sold on Panini America’s website, besting a Luca Doncic 1-of-1 that reached $100,000.
That sale also gave him bragging rights over his Uncle Peyton.
Arch Manning’s “rookie” trading card well outdid Peyton’s Colts’ rookie card, which sold for just under $27,000.

More impressively, it bested the top selling Peyton Manning card from any point throughout his Hall of Fame career.

While Arch topped Peyton in this off-the-field accomplishment, he can only hope to have a similar impact on the field as his career progresses. Entering his freshman season, Manning is listed as at third on the depth chart behind incumbent starter Quinn Ewers and backup Maliik Murphy.
