Baker Mayfield was in rare form during his press conference at the NFL combine today.
While speaking to reported before today’s workout portion, Mayfield said that he believed that if anyone were to fix the Browns, it’s him.
“If anyone is going to turnaround the Cleveland Browns, it’s going to be me,” Mayfield said, immediately establishing that he didn’t come to Indianapolis to tell people what they wanted to hear.
Mayfield also tried to kill all the comparisons with Johnny Manziel.

It doesn’t seem like Mayfield would be happy to back up Eli Manning if the Giants were to draft him at #2.

When asked if could handle backing up #Giants QB Eli Manning, Baker Mayfield said that his approach has never been to have a backup mentality to anybody. Also said he feels he’s the most accurate QB in this year’s Draft.
The 2017 Heisman Trophy winner is expected to be one of the QBs picked in the draft but with with heavy competition from Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, and Josh Rosen, Mayfield could potentially fall out of the top 10.
