Baker Mayfield is a certified badass and is not apologizing for being who he is.
At the end of this weekend’s Bengals-Browns game, Mayfield gave his former coach Hue Jackson the stink eye on the sideline while running up the field.

Fox Sports 1 blowhard Colin Cowherd went on to rip Mayfield for the stare down the following day on his show.
He’s a very accurate thrower of the football, and he also yesterday taunted a coach. Long-term I’ll take a grown up. I’ll take Wilson, Luck, Darnold. I won’t take taunting a coach who got fired and crazy, took another job.”

While speaking to the media today Mayfield fired back at Cowherd and his critics and refused to apologize for the staredown.
#Browns Baker Mayfield on media saying he's being petty on Hue stare down, etc: "I don't get why people have a problem with football being a competitive sport. You're supposed to play with passion. If people don't like it…whatever."

#Browns Baker Mayfield on there's worry his perceived attitude/actions could become distraction: "That sounds like the exact questions I got before the combine…no. Not one bit." Adds "I don't need to make friends outside of this locker room."
