One of the first times we saw Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield out in public with his girlfriend Emily Wilkinson was back in January of 2018 when he was dulling his Rose Bowl pain by crushing beers at a Clippers game.
Since that day, things have only gotten better for the 2017 Heisman Trophy winner.
He was drafted first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Browns, his girlfriend, Emily Wilkinson, quit her job and moved to Cleveland with him, he led the Browns to their first win in 635 days, broke the single-season passing TD record for a rookie, and got engaged to said girlfriend.
Not a bad year.
And now, as he gets ready for season number two at the helm in Cleveland, Mayfield went and got married to Wilkinson on Saturday night at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu in front of former Oklahoma Sooners teammates like Kyler Murray, Dede Westbrook, Orlando Brown Jr. and Mark Andrews, as well as Oklahoma’s co-offensive coordinator Cale Gundy. Current Sooners Grant Calcaterra and Tanner Schafer served as ushers, according to OU Daily.

On Sunday, the 24-year-old Mayfield shared the first video of himself as a married man.

Congratulations to the happy couple and a bit of advice for the new Mrs. Mayfield: should Baker struggle in his sophomore season, stop using social media. Trust me.
