Bears Chase Claypool isn’t exactly thrilled with how things have been shaping up in the team’ offense this NFL season.
Three weeks in, and the team is struggling, averaging just over 15 points per game. For Claypool, who’s in a critical contract year, frustration is building.
He’s only managed to pull in four catches out of 14 targets, amassing a total of 51 yards and one touchdown.
When questioned about whether the coaching staff is putting him in the best position to thrive, Claypool was straightforward – “No.”

The Bears’ passing offense has been one of the worst in the NFL this year, ranked second to last in yards per game.
Here is the exchange with Chase Claypool on his belief he's not being utilized to showcase his strengths beginning with the 2 questions I asked. The assumption that quotes from players are cherrypicked is something I take offense to, so you can see it verbatim for yourself. pic.twitter.com/EdqTcTo9wT

Claypool actually gone viral after his Week 1 performance due to lack of effort on blocking but seems to believe he improved in that area.
Claypool was asked what the coaching staff can do to use him better, his answer wasn’t too helpful: “You know, I’ll let them decide that, that’s their job to decide, and I’ll just do what they tell me to do.”
