Bengals QB Joe Burrow is receiving praise for his classy act after the Damar Hamlin incident.
In a scary scene on Monday night, Hamlin collapsed on the field and was given CPR for over 10 minutes before being escorted to a local Cincinnati hospital via ambulance.

The injury took place after Hamlin tackled Higgins following the Bengals wideout’s reception over the middle near midfield. Higgins led with his right shoulder and hit Hamlin in the chest. Hamlin quickly got up afterward, was on his feet for about three seconds and then abruptly collapsed. Athletic trainers came out to help immediately, and a stretcher then was brought to the field as the trainers protected his head.
The entire Bills sideline surrounded Hamlin as he received care. Multiple Bills players were visibly distressed and comforting one another as athletic trainers cared for him. Many players turned away from watching Hamlin in distress
We have since learned that Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest on the field after taking a hit to the chest.
Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game versus the Bengals. His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition.

While both teams were in the locker room after the incident, Burrow rounded up the Bengals team captains to check on the Bills players, who had been extremely emotional on the field.
Was told that after the teams were brought back in to wait inside, QB Joe Burrow gathered the Bengals captains and they walked over as a group to the Bills' locker room to check on the Buffalo players.
In these sorts of situations, NFL players take care of each other.

According to various reports, playerss on both teams would later decidenot tot continue playing in the gams.
Based on a variety of reports, the @NFL did not make the decision to suspend the Bengals-Bills game. Rather, players/captains and coaches from both teams, who had witnessed Bills safety Damar Hamlin getting CPR for 8 minutes, said they would not continue the game. #NFL
