It doesn’t seem like Francis Ngannou will be fighting in the BKFC anytime soon.
Earlier this year, Ngannou left the UFC after contract negotiations fell through.
BKFC has been one of the organizations interested in signing Ngannou, but they feel he’s asking for way too much money.
During Tuesday’s BKFC 41 press conference, BKFC President Dave Feldman revealed that he believed Ngannou was asking for an unrealistic amount of money for his next fight.

“Francis Ngannou, he’s somebody we’ve certainly reached out to,” Feldman said. “We’ve reached out to him, we’ve reached out to his team, and we just feel like he’s asking for unrealistic money, and we’re not willing to pay that kind of money for him.”
During an interview with Ariel Helwani back in January, Ngannou revealed that he turned down $8 million to fight Jon Jones.
Ngannou says that the Jon Jones fight was in the ballpark of the $8 million that Brock Lesnar reportedly made for UFC 200 and that he had asked for a three-fight deal with no extension clauses.

Ngannou has said that he’s currently attempting to get a boxing match with either Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury in the near future.
