Alabama Player Put Brian Kelly In His Place For Whining About Blitzing Backups During Blowout

LSU head football coach Brian Kelly was very upset that Alabama blitzed multiple players at the end of Saturday’s loss in Baton Rouge. The Crimson Tide could not care less.

Junior offensive lineman Tyler Booker’s response to the ridiculous controversy makes the 63-year-old look even worse than he already did.

Kelly got his brakes blown off during the SEC West matchup of two-loss teams. It was a blood bath. LSU went down 21-6 at halftime and never recovered. Alabama won 42-13.

However, the Tigers scored their lone touchdown of the entire game with just 11 seconds left in the game.

The timing of their eight-play, 75-yard scoring drive is rather ironic. LSU’s starting offense was on the field for all four quarters of a 29-point loss. And yet, Kelly still had the audacity to complain about the Crimson Tide’s backup defense playing hard against the starters while they actively tried to score.

Brian Kelly was so mad!

He whined about the supposed unsportsmanlike behavior during his postgame press conference.

To make it even funnier, Kelly was complaining to the officials about the blitz during the game. He turned to the line judge and said, “The games over and they’re sending f—— eight guys!”

There was absolutely nothing the officials could do about Alabama’s defensive pressure. It was not illegal. It was not against the rules. The quibble fell on deaf ears.

He got upset with the Crimson Tide for trying even though the “game was over.” Meanwhile, his first-string offense was still in the game and tried to score. So the game was, in fact, not over!

Did Kelly expect Kalen DeBoer to sit back in prevent defense and allow his starters to pad their stats?

“Here, have this touchdown…” uh, yeah right…

When asked about the losing head coach’s complaints, Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker put him in his place.

The word mercy is not in our vocabulary. If you’re gonna leave your guys out there, you have to be ready for what comes with it.

Brian Kelly would be due more than $50 million if LSU was to buy him out of his contract. No matter how much he whines, no matter how much he loses, the Bayou Bengals are not in position to cut him loose.
