Bryson DeChambeau is coming off team win at the 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship in Miami which capped off a year where he earned $15.7 million from swinging the sticks (not including endorsements).
Now, just over a month shy of turning 30 years old, Bryson DeChambeau is putting some of his golf money into launching UnderPar Life, a Topgolf-like experience with 42 hitting bays, a 500-yard driving range, a Tour-level practicing area, and more.
In addition to the above, Bryson DeChambeau’s UnderPar Life will feature a golf academy, fitness center, dining helmed by Fort Worth-based celebrity chef Christian Lehrmann, and three full-service bars.
Ben Swanger of DMagazine was first to report on Bryson’s new project. He shared two walk-thru videos of the new property.

The second:
The venue—which is more of a training facility—will be a 2-level structure with 42 bays, Trackman tech, tour level clubs and balls for guests, a college-style weight room, and a tour-level short game practice area.
The restaurant will be led by a celebrity chef.

Speaking with Swanger about this new project, Bryson DeChambeau said “Expense is a barrier to most things in life. It is an unusually high barrier to experience the joy of golf. UnderPar Life at Hawks Creek is the first of many locations designed to redefine access to golf by reducing cost barriers.”
Bryson added “Our initiatives are geared toward making golf more affordable, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone. Our approach, partnering with municipally owned golf courses, removes significant financial obstacles and allows us to grow the community of golfers.”
The new facility will be part of Hawks Creek Golf Club in western Forth Worth, a highly-rated course that’s open to the public. And that really underscores what Bryson DeChambeau is trying to do with UnderPar Life: make good golf accessible to more people.
It will be interesting to see what pricing looks like for the various UnderPar Life experiences. Presumably, the top tier will be an elite-level membership. But it certainly looks like this will be an expensive outing.
