The Buffalo Bill beat the New York Jets 21-12 on Sunday, giving them a firm lead in the AFC East after the Patriots lost to the Chiefs and the Dolphins’ game was postponed due to Hurricane Irma. This marks the first time the Bills have had sole possession of first place since Week 2 of 2014, and Bills Mafia was out in full force to celebrate.
If you’re not familiar with Bills Mafia, you should be. They have a reputation for suplexing each other through folding tables in addition to officially earning the title of the drunkest fans in the NFL thanks to the ridiculous amounts of Labatt Blue that is consumed before each game. In short, they never fail to entertain.
Before the game, the folks at New Era Field set up the cockpit of an actual jet in the parking lot and encouraged fans to beat it with a sledgehammer, because that’s just how they do things up in Buffalo.
The account later shared an image of the final damage:

Is there a good chance that the Bills will end up tanking over the course of the season and end up missing the playoffs for the 18th season in a row? Based on virtually everyone’s preseason predictions, the answer is “absolutely”. But let’s at least let them have the first week.
