A clip of Caitlin Clark getting fouled repeatedly during the Indiana Fever’s game over the weekend has gone viral on social media. The Indiana Fever beat the Dallas Wings by a score of 102-83 on Sunday, July 13.
In the clip from Sunday’s Fever versus Wings game, the 23-year-old Indiana Fever star was fouled at least five times before finally getting a whistle from the referee, according ESPN announcers Rebecca Lobo and Ryan Ruocco.
The video shows Clark being aggressively defended on the perimeter by Dallas Wings guard JJ Quinerly, who the announcers believe fouled Clark multiple times before finally being penalized by the officials.

“There’s a grab, there’s a hold, there’s another grab, I mean, all of those are fouls. Every single one of them. That’s a foul, that’s a foul, and finally they call [one of them],” Lobo said while breaking down the replay.
“All of those are fouls,” play-by-play man Ryan Rucco added.
With a record of 11-10 as of Monday, July 14, the Indiana Fever sit in sixth place in the WNBA with a record of 11-10. During her second season in the WNBA, which was disrupted by a groin injury, Clark is averaging 16.7 points, 9 assits and 4.8 rebounds per game.
So far this season, the leader in fouls drawn per game is A’ja Wilson with 6.7. Following the Las Vegas Aces star is Brittney Sykes (6.3), Napheesa Collier (5.9), and Kelsey Plum (5.8).
Clark, in fact — perhaps due to her spell on the bench due to a groin injury — does not even crack the top 25 in fouls drawn so far this season. The leaders in fouls drawn are Kelsey Plum with 115, Brittney Sykes and A’Ja Wilson with 114, Napheesa Collier with 112, and Breanna Stewart with 111.
