Despite being sidelined by injuries, Indiana Fever stars Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham are clearly enjoying their team’s postseason run, which continued over the weekend with another upset win, this time in Game 1 of the WNBA Playoffs semi-finals against MVP A’Ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces.

Ahead of Sunday’s matchup between the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces, Cailtin Clark showed up for the now supremely-popular WNBA pregame fit check, and was styling in black jeans, a brown shirt and some trendy sunglasses.

Her teammate Sophie Cunningham, however, showed up in what best could be described as airport attire: grey t-shirt, grey hoodie, black sweats, and sneakers.

While this is Cunningham’s first season with the Indiana Fever, she and Clark have clearly become fast friends, which is likely aided by the fact that Cunningham was essentially acting as Clark’s enforcer on the court when the pair were both healthy at the start of the season.

As Clark entered the arena, she caught a glimpse of Cunningham’s outfit and dragged — literally — into the view of the camera, with Cunnignham exclaiming that Clark “forgets she has a broken leg.”

“I literally just woke up, brushed my teeth and walked out,” Cunningham commented on the post.

Clark has seemingly made a habit of poking fun at Cunningham’s outfit choices, as she has even ribbed her thirst trap posts over on Instagram.

In the Fever’s Game 1 upset of the Las Vegas Aces, which they won gy a score of 89-73, Indiana was led by guard Kelsey Mitchell — who has been with the franchise since 2018 — who put up a whopping 34 points. Guard Odyssey Sims also chipped in with 17 points, while forward Nathasha Howard had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

After the win, Clark took to social media to shower praise on her teammate, simply tweeting “Kelsey unreal” in reference to Mitchell’s 34-point performance.

At this time, the WNBA has yet to confirm the date and time for Game 2 of the WNBA semifinals between the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces.
